Move from symptoms to clinical clarity

Persistent bloating, IBS, recurrent SIBO diagnoses, reflux, altered bowel habits and food-related symptoms often need more than another protocol. My consultations are designed to reassess your case, identify what may be driving your symptoms, and guide the most appropriate next steps.

“After years of unresolved digestive symptoms, Dr Flor-Prades helped me understand what was happening — and regain my health. Her clinical expertise, combined with nutritional insight, made a real difference - P.M, London”

How the consultation works

Every consultation is a thorough clinical reassessment of your case. I review your medical history, previous investigations and current symptoms, while also assessing nutritional, metabolic and gut-brain factors that may be contributing.

Each consultation includes:

  • A detailed clinical discussion and case review

  • Review of relevant investigations carried out to date

  • Tailored lifestyle and dietary guidance

  • Recommendations for any further testing, if appropriate

  • A summary letter to your GP or referring clinician, if required.

I do not offer fixed packages or pre-defined programmes. Every step — whether further testing, follow-up, or referral — is decided based on what your case clinically requires. For this reason, consultations vary in scope and duration depending on the complexity of each case. The aim is the same in every visit: to provide clinical clarity about what is happening, accurate differential diagnosis, and a clear plan of action.

Follow- up and additional testing

If functional or specialist testing is clinically indicated — for example, breath testing, microbiome analysis, or other targeted investigations — this will be discussed during your consultation and arranged separately. Test costs are not included in the consultation fee.

A follow-up consultation is recommended to review results, integrate them into the wider clinical picture, and adjust the management plan accordingly. Follow-up consultations are booked and charged separately.

I do not recommend tests routinely. Investigations are suggested only when they are likely to change the clinical decision-making in your case.
